A leading, high end housing developer are looking to procure an experienced Head of Procurement to head up their buying team based in Devon, near Exeter. My client are a family owned company, operating for just under a Century, they are now the largest independent house builder based in the South West - a proud developer with an unbeatable reputation for the highest standards of design and build quality.

Not only this, but they are proud of being awarded the 5 star HBF for the 5th year in a row. Today my client have a multi-million pound turnover, a major building programme of new properties across Devon and the rest of the region, and a well-deserved reputation for constructing the highest quality homes. Yet the company firmly remains a family business - still committed to their original principles of modern design and construction.

They are looking to take on an experienced Procurement Manager, who will be heading up their buying division, managing 4/5 employees at any one time. You will ideally come from a house builder background with a minimum of 7 years within the industry. Whilst managing, you will also have experience working on 5-10 sites concurrently, depending on the size of the schemes.

Degree qualified, or the equivalent, is preferred but not essential, but experience within construction is a necessity.
