MAINTENANCE ENGINEER - NEWMARKET - PERM - SALARY UP TO £30K

Are you an experienced maintenance engineer that boasts a strong electrical and mechanical background in medical device?

My client is leading the way in infection and contamination control and is seeking a flexible, self-starter with a passion for engineering.

Job Responsibilities.

Ensure that the manufacturing lines run efficiently, reliably and smoothly in accordance with Health and Safety.
Support the Production Areas to meet the required output and quality objectives.
Carry out Facilities Maintenance as and when required.
Responsible for managing the production equipment in order that the lines run smoothly and meet the output requirements as a result.
Ability to work without direct supervision and using own initiative.
Able to effectively prioritize workload.
Responding to Breakdowns and diagnosing faults in an efficient manner.
Repairing equipment as and when required.
Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance.
Managing contractors on site as and when required.
Managing the critical spares needed in order to maintain production.
Creating and maintaining robust maintenance procedures.
Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation.
Be focused on delivering continuous improvement.

Education and Experience Requirements.

Mechanical and Electrical experience required.
Mechanical and Electrical qualifications desirable.
HPLC qualified desirable.
