JOB TITLE: Assembly Team Leader

SALARY & BENEFITS: Very Attractive package for the right candidate + Bonus and overtime

WORKING HOURS: 37.5 hour per week (days)

THE COMPANY: Autocraft Drivetrain Solutions, based near Grantham in Lincolnshire is a privately owned automotive supplier of new and remanufactured engines to the global car manufacturers. They have doubled the size of the business in the past 7 years to over £22m turnover and thier order book continues to grow. Due to continued success they are now looking for an Assembly Team Leader to join their team.

THE ROLE: The Assembly Team Leader will be oversee a team of 20 25 production operatives in the assembly sections in the busy Grantham based factory. You will manage the production and the employees within their Cells. As well as assisting,supporting and working alongside the other Cell Leaders of the business.

There is an attractive salary and benefits package for this role. The salary for this role would be completely dependent on the candidates level of experience.

The working hours are 37.5 hour per week Monday to Friday -day shift and there will be overtime available that would include weekends. This is not guaranteed overtime but you would need to be flexible to meet this requirement.

Key responsibilities:

Provide effective leadership at an operational level to all operatives
Ensure Quality standards are adhered to and relevant paperwork is filled out correctly and in a timely manner
Organise staff, delegate tasks and deal with day to day staffing issues as necessary
Assess staff performance levels and produce annual appraisals
Ensure employees are correctly trained in their production work and correct paperwork has been completed
Attend all necessary meetings
Support problem solving activities

THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate for the role of Assembly Team Leader will have previous experience in an Assembly or manufacturing environment as well as leadership / Managerial role. Any Experience in the automotive industry would be highly advantageous but is not essential as training can be provided.

Essential for the Assembly Team Leader role:
Previous Assembly / Manufacturing expedience
Team leader / managerial experience
Live within a commutable distance of Grantham
Proficient in the use of Microsoft excel and word

Desirable for the Assembly Team Leader role:
Previous experience in the Automotive desirable but not essential
An interest in the automotive/autosport industry
