Experienced JIB Qualified Electrical Supervisor with a strong electrical background (ideally there way up from being an Electrician). The Electrical Supervisor needs to be NICEIC registered. Although Supervisors / Field Managers should ideally be working as a QS (qualified supervisor) allowing them to verify and sign off all NICEIC reports.

Successful engineers should ideally hold the following -
City And Guilds - 2360 Electrical Installation
City And Guilds - 2391 Electrical Inspection And Testing
City And Guilds - 2382 17th Edition Upgrade
NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation
NET AM2

JIB Gold Card (Preferable)
NICEIC Part P (Preferable)

Supervisors should have a good level of IT skills and be comfortable to word processing & emails and be able to learn software (for work scheduling purpose).

Key Roles -
To oversee both on going Electrical Projects (Large commercial and industrial projects) & Reactive works (from ad hoc calls that come in).

Communicate clearly with clients & office to best schedule works for engineers to improve performance and maximise efficiency.

Organising materials & labour on contracted sites.

Write up & complete Risk Assessment & Method Statements.

Up to speed with all industry related standards and paper work for test & inspection procedures.

Produce small quotations for remedial repairs, small maintenance contracts & the odd install works.

Raising P/O numbers.

QS must be able to communicate & manage other staff (Engineers & Office) well and will be responsible for ensuring staff discipline.
