Prospero Teaching are looking for a talented Maths Teacher to start in january 2018 in a Secondary school near Ipswich.

The successful Maths Teacher will be joining a strong Teaching and Support Team in what is a very ambitious and supportive learning environment. They have high standards of Teaching and Learning but will offer all the necessary support to anyone that is to join their team.

About the school and contract
*Large secondary school teaching KS3-KS5
*The successful teacher will be required to teach Maths to GCSE, and it will be an advantage to teach to KS5
*Full-time starting in January 2018
*Strong SLT providing CPD and support throughout the year
*Supportive yet energetic atmosphere
*Strong team ethos throughout the school

About the successful Maths Teacher
*You will have resilience and energy
*Be very confident in delivering GCSE Business Studies and have experience teaching GCSE Maths
*A teacher with a can-do attitude and a flexible personality is integral
*A commitment to valuing all individuals
*Driven to deliver outstanding lessons and maintaining the current standards
*Strong classroom management skills
*An ability to use a range of strategies appropriate to learners' individual needs
*Be hardworking and committed to pupil success
*Become part of a dedicated and motivated staff team that strongly believe in collaboration, positive relationships and an inclusive approach
*Highly reflective practice and commitment to own learning and professional development

To be eligible the Maths Teacher must:
*Be a qualified Teacher (ideally PGCE, GTP, B'ed, Cert Ed, BA with QTS or QTLS)
*Be a UK resident or be eligible to work in the UK
*Have 2 references and hold a current and full enhanced DBS
*Passionate and dedicated educator
