Business Development Manager

(Construction Contracting Services)

A fantastic for a proven and ambitious BDM to join an established and growth business, the main objective of this role is to identify new business opportunities for our contracting services across all regions (Midlands, Home Counties and South East) with an initial focus on the Midland area.

Package:

Salary Circa £40,000-£44,000 plus Commission incentives.

Main Tasks

* Carry out research to find new customers and identify the decision makers.
* Increase customer numbers and inquiry levels.
* Promote the companys new contracting services to existing and potential clients.
* Identify and pursue commercial markets outside new build housing.
* Maintain and develop relationships with key clients.
* Produce weekly and monthly reports to support KPIs.
* Provide forecasts of anticipated sales.
* Define short, medium and long term goals in line with business strategy.
* Improve the companys market position and contribute to its financial growth.
* Support senior management in long term development and vision for growth.

* Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
* A commitment to delivering exemplary customer service.

* Ability to work under pressure and to meet target deadlines.
* Good technical knowledge and skills.
* Ability to communicate effectively at all levels from small sub-contractors to large, national construction companies.
* Computer literate and conversant with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
* Construction industry sales experience.
