Role Profile

Assist Resourcing UK Ltd are supporting a market leading business who in recruiting a Depot Manager to join their fast paced operation, based around the Chesterfield area. Reporting directly into the General Manager, you will oversee the full day to day operations of a busy Depot. You will ideally come from a busy FMCG environment.

As Depot Manager you will provide leadership and motivation to the Depot warehouse and transport team
Health & Safety will be a priority
You will have the ability to manage and implement change programmes
You will be organised and a great communicator
You will have the ability to forward plan and ensure a cost efficient, highly effective depot operation. You will be able to respond to serious incidents including disaster recovery plans, product recall and stock hold instructions.
Your role as the Depot Manager will be to manage and improve the Distribution operation at the depot, in order to ensure optimum safety, efficiency and profitability.
You will also ensure adherence to all ISO, company procedures and transport legislation
