Construction Foreman/Ganger

We require a self-motivated, organised & responsible individual to fill an immediate Construction Foreman vacancy with our client.

THE ROLE

In this hands on role, you'll be leading a team, extending existing parks or developing new, for the siting of luxury holiday lodges , ensuring all work is carried out to an excellent standard.
You'll make sure workers are aware of and are abiding by any legal and company requirements at all times and ensure all work carried out meets required health and safety standards.
You'll also ensure any proposed changes and adaptations to our parks take place in an efficient manner and are completed to the required specification.
You'll oversee and assist with tasks including marking out, general ground works in preparation for development works, laying curbs for roads, paths and parking bays and construction of landscape features.
You'll also be responsible for and will assist in the laying of all services to include; gas, water, electric and (deep) drainage off plan.
The role will initially be based in Allerthorpe, just outside of York, for 3-4 years, however, after such time, it may be necessary to travel to our various other parks around the country.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Previous experience of working in the holiday park industry or a role of a similar nature in construction.

Previous supervisor or manager experience and a working knowledge of health and safety.

You'll have previous machinery experience and ideally, will also have relevant tickets, however, this isn't essential as full training will be provided.

Requirements

* A CPCS 360 excavator above ten tonnes (tracked) operator card (A59)
* A CPCS certified forward tipping dumper ticket (A09)
* A CPCS ride on roller (A31)
* Stone Saw ticket and vibrating plate ticket
* A full driving licence with category C1E is essential.

Pay

The pay is £28,000 to £30,000 per annum, depending on experience depending on experience, based on a 40 hour week, plus all the normal benefits e.g. holiday, pension and bonus potential
