Manufacturing Production Engineer - Installation - Tooling - PLC - Process - Perm - Sussex - £Comp + Benefits

A market leading, clean-technology manufacturing business based in Sussex is currently seeking for a Manufacturing Production Engineer to join their process team on a permanent basis. As Manufacturing Production Engineer, you will play a vital role in supporting and developing the currently manufacturing processes and equipment.

Responsibilities
* Production engineering of cell stacks.
* Organise parts, building and paperwork for prototypes.
* Interface with Engineering, Test and Systems.
* Set up production cells.
* Develop current manufacturing processes.
* Assist in the acquisition of new equipment, including planning for delivery and commissioning.
* Design of production intent tooling and fixtures.
* Provide support for Manufacturing Operations.
* Liaise with Manufacturing Operations and Research and Development to resolve issues.
* Ensure equipment performs within the expected ranges of performance, troubleshooting those that do not.

Requirements
* Apprenticeship/HNC/BSc qualified in an engineering discipline of study.
* Possess extensive experience working in electrical/mechanical/industrial or manufacturing environments.
* Six Sigma and Lean trained is highly desirable.
* Equipment fault finding.
* Aptitude for both Mechanical and Electrical work.
* PLC programming Siemens S7, Mitsubishi.
* AutoCad and CADCAM programs, and G-Code programming.
