We are currently looking to recruit a Crane Maintenance Engineer with overhead crane experience to effectively maintain all cranes with the business units with an aim to improving up time while reducing costs. Within this role, you will also provide practical and technical support within your area of expertise by performing necessary breakdown repairs, leading preventative maintenance activity and facilitating the promotion of equipment improvements.

We are looking for an effective engineer with demonstrable experience in working with Overhead cranes supplied by major manufacturers. You should have completed a recognized engineering apprenticeship and possess an accredited vocational qualification (NVQ/City & Guilds) or time served. We are looking for individuals with demonstrable experience of a relevant engineering discipline, continuous improvement processes, preventative maintenance techniques and dealing with contractors.

We require applicants to have the ability to demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills and be computer literate. The ability to work without close supervision, yet under pressure and to tight timescales is essential.

The successful candidates will initially be expected to work a double day shift rotational pattern, attracting a 20% shift allowance premium
