Hours: Mon to Thu 8.00am to 4.30pm , 2pm finish Friday

Long established engineering company with the support of a high £multi-million Group, require an additional CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator due to consistent increases in their business. You will be joining an experienced team with good training and technical development available.

The role of CNC Programmer / CNC Setter (mills) will be a varied and interesting role and will suit an individual used to a sub-contract environment. You will be machining standard and exotic materials to very high specification and will given the trust to see the job through from start to finish. The role will include the following duties:

* Programming, setting and operating CNC mills
* Working on complex machining processes using stainless steels, titanium etc
* Self-managing - working to engineering drawings and inspection of finished components
* Be able to identify machining processes required and be able to set up all machinery from there.

The ideal CNC Programmer / CNC Setter - Lathes will:

* Have considerable experience as a mill programmer, setter, operator
* Be able to work from engineering drawings and specification
* Be able to self-inspect work - CMM training provided
* Be proficient using the above skills for small-batch production.
