An experienced Toolmaker is currently being sought after to join a long established automotive manufacturing supplier. As a Toolmaker, you will receive a competitive salary of £23,000 to £27,000 per annum, working in a permanent, full time position. This is a hugely exciting opportunity to work for a progressive and forward-thinking company.

You will be joining of the UKS most successful manufacturing organisations; they are specialists in the supply of a wide range of metal pressed components. They mainly serve the automotive industry, and have specialist knowledge and expertise of this particular industry.

Your duties will include the following:

Repair and maintain tools and dies as required

Trouble shoot and repair dies in a press

*
Review tooling at the end of the production run and determine die status

*
Complete service reports

*
Work in a safe manner whilst observing all necessary Health and Safety procedures and risk assessments

To be successful in the role, you must be able to demonstrate the following:

Apprentice trained or highly experienced Toolmaker with at least 5 years experience

*
Experience of working in an environment compliant to TS16949 and ISO14001

*
Capable of working on small, medium and large press tools to run in presses ranging from 80 to 800 tonnes

*
Experience of cutting and profiling using a range of lathes, vertical milling machines, surface and cylindrical grinders

*
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

This positon is based in Milton Keynes and is easily accessible from Bedford, Luton, Leighton Buzzard and Banbury.

This is a permanent, full time role, where you will receive an annual salary of £23,000 to £27,000, along with excellent company benefits.
