Counterbalance Forklift Driver

We are recruiting for Counterbalance Forklift Driver in the Cannock area.

Immediate Start - ongoing work

As a Counterbalance Forklift Driver you need:

* RTITB or ITSARR accredited to be a Counterbalance forklift licences (in-date or expired)
* Previous Warehouse experience is desirable
* Good knowledge and understanding of handling heavy goods
* Previous experience working with double forks is desirable.

Details:

* Salary: £8.45 per hour
* Working hours of Counterbalance Forklift Driver are Thursday + Friday + Saturday and Sunday 6am till 6pm.
* Location: Cannock, Staffordshire
* Duration: Temporary to Permanent

Role of a Counterbalance Forklift Driver:

You will be required to work in one of the busiest, fast moving warehouses in the Midlands. You will be operating forklift trucks with double fork attachments, loading and unloading containers two pallets at a time. Time keeping, precision and safety are the keys skills that the suitable candidate needs to have. You will be required to work on racking as high as 12 meters. previous experience is essential in this role as there is no room for error. Out of date licences can be accepted as you will be required to take an assessment and induction on the forklifts. you will also be subject to a drugs and alcohol test.

Duties are not limited to just a forklift role. You will be manually loading and unloading containers as well as working with the order pickers to pick orders from racking.
