This fantastic Cover Supervisor position is the perfect opportunity for a conscientious and outgoing graduate to join a modern and vibrant secondary school in the Chorley area.

This graduate Cover Supervisor role offers the perfect introduction to the teaching environment. The position consists of delivering a variable timetable of already planned lessons and prepared teaching tasks across classes in different year groups and abilities. Any successful candidate will need to be both adaptable and confident. By liaising with the Cover Manager and working in a valued team of support staff you will assist in meeting the demands of the cover timetable. When delivering planned lessons you will work alongside experienced Learning Support Assistants and work cohesively to provide consistency in the teaching of the curriculum.

This Ofsted 'Good' school caters for around 800 students and aim to deliver record breaking results and cutting edge teaching and learning strategies. In order to deliver these aims the school has high expectations of their students which they demand are met consistently, expectations that include: high attendance, respecting each other, having the correct equipment and an attitude towards learning that will ensure progress.

'Senior leaders and governors have tackled areas of weakness that were highlighted in the past and continue to improve. Students behave well in lessons and around school, they support each other in learning and making progress.' One inspector commented when the school was visited by Ofsted.
