Highways Maintenance Operative

Summary

Ascentia are currently looking for a Highways Maintenance Operatives with HGV Class 2 licence.

This position will begin on a temporary contract however has the potential to lead to a permanent contract.

The Job

You will be required to carry out all aspects of highways maintenance works including routine and cyclic maintenance activities, minor civils works, litter picking etc.

You will also be required to undertake winter maintenance (gritting) and emergency call out and standby.

Requirements

You must hold an HGV Class 2 Licence and CPC and have previous highways maintenance experience.

Hours

Normal working hours are 7am to 4pm
You will also be required to go on the on call rota for winter maintenance (gritting) duties.

Pay Rates

Normal Working Rate - £11 ph
Standby - TBC
Winter Maintenance TBC
