Our client, a well-established gastro pub located on the outskirts of Colchester, are looking for a passionate Head Chef to lead their strong brigade of chefs. The successful candidate will be eager to maintain and surpass the high standards already set at this venue.

Especially popular for their delicious Sunday roasts, this establishment uses only the finest locally sourced ingredients to produce quality dishes that keep this venue busy year-round. Serving up to 1500 meals per week this establishment is a favourite within the locality.

Catering for private parties and events as well as day-to-day trade, this is a popular venue for tourists and locals alike and offers outdoor seating for the warmer months.

The Ideal Candidate:

Strong leadership skills
Good working knowledge of all sections of the kitchen
Experience recruiting and training staff of all levels
Passionate and keen to create new dishes
Eager to surpass the high standards already set at this establishment
This position is mainly split shifts offering a minimum of 45 hours per week with two days off.

Due to the location, a car driver is desired
