Residential Support Worker required for a small and well equipped childrens home which accomodates children and young people with a primary diagnosis of moderate to severe autism with moderate challenging behaviour and associated conditions such as ADHD and Tourettes Syndrome.

As a Residential Support Worker you will ensure that the children and young people in your care are safe, healthy and able to make a positive contribution, realising their full potential through enjoyment, achievement and economic well being.

This is a 52 week post and you must be prepared to work on a shift system including early, late and weekend shifts.

To succeed you will possess:
Emotional resilience
Flexibility, resourcefulness
A strong 'can do' attitude
Effective communication skills
Previous experience of working with young people with special needs
