The successful Civil Technician will be motivated and enthusiastic and will be supported, encouraged and developed to become the best that you can be. You will have working experience in infrastructure design, specifically levels, road design and drainage.
Civil Technician Role
The successful Civil Engineering Technician will be involved with the Design of highway and drainage schemes.
Foul, surface water and land drainage design.
Produce / Assist by contributing to flood risk assessments, feasibility studies and drainage strategy reports.
The work will be very varied working on a number of different and interesting projects.
You will be required to liaise with clients, other staff members and statutory bodies including Building Control, NHBC, Planning Authorities, Highway Authorities, Environment Agency, Statutory Undertakers etc.
Undertaking design, drawing, reporting and calculations for new infrastructure schemes (roads, drainage and external works) to serve new developments, design roundabouts, signal junctions and other S278 highway schemes along with sustainable drainage systems in accordance with current design guidance and legislation for a variety of residential and commercial developments.
Role Requirements and Qualifications
Ideally applicants should hold a HNC/HND or similar in an appropriate built environment subject.
Previous work experience should include infrastructure design, specifically levels, road design drainage.
Experience using 2D and 3D modelling techniques.
Must have comprehensive knowledge of AutoCAD and Micro Drainage software.
AutoCAD civil 3D and Microsoft office suite knowledge is also preferable.
Full driving licence.
Able to present a professional image to all visitors, external professional, clients and staff.
Civil Technician Package

- £20,000 - £30,000 (dependent on experience)
