Our client is a fast paced innovative company specialising in research, development, design and manufacture across the Aerospace, MOD, Motorsport industries and other high technology sectors seeking a R+D Technician based in Bicester on a permanent basis offering up to ?30,000 per annum.

The requirement for R+D Technician will play a key role alongside senior engineers within a R+D department. The role will entail preparing and performing a wide variety of tests on R+D components and assemblies. The ideal candidate will be a hands on, enthusiastic individual with proven experience of working from technical drawings. Development of test procedures, documentation and equipment and developing tests to technical drawings procedures and specifications.

The successful candidate will require previous experience of working to technical drawings/ manuals, methodical and disciplined approach and good understanding of mechanical systems. Any understanding of electronics, instrumentation and software would be desirable. This opportunity could suit someone from a mechanical motorsport background or someone with an engineering assembly background.
