The Company:

A superb opportunity for a driven and dynamic Sales Representative / Manager with proven experience of developing business within the furniture or beds market. You will live and know the North West region and be happy to travel extensively to visit new and existing independent retail customers you will sell into.

Job Responsibilities:

* Effectively managing and develop customer relationships within the independent furniture retail sector, specifically selling a well recognised and quality bed brand.
* Targeting and winning new business through the execution of the new business development strategy as both an active member yourself and by providing guidance, support and vision to your sales team
* Increasing the market share of this quality British manufacturer's brands within the UK furniture market
* Attending regional shows, NBF, AIS NEC and the 'At Home Show Event' as required throughout the year.
* Ensure all relevant promotional activity and new range developments are planned at least 6 weeks from launch for promotional activity and 3 months from launch for new ranges.

Preferred Skills:

* Previous experience in the Furniture Independent field sales environment, ideally within the bed market
* An ability to work independently, reporting into a National Sales Manager

Personal Attributes:

* Ability to identify and work with relevant business resources
* Influencing at all buying levels
* Excellent negotiation skills with a strong commercial and financial awareness
* Solid communication (verbal and written) and active listening skills with an ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders both internally and externally
* You will need to be living within the South East area.
