Role: Structural Technician (AutoCAD / REVIT)

I am currently looking to speak with Structural Technicians for an opportunity in central Manchester. This local client requires a Structural Technician who is competent on AutoCAD and REVIT and can work either independently or semi-independently.

My client specialise within Structural / Civil Engineering and are well respected within these sectors. They have a modern approach to Engineering and boast an impressive working environment. They are located in the heart of Manchester and work on a variety of local projects crossing the High Rise, Healthcare, Commercial and Educational sectors.
They will also offer training on 3D software such as REVIT with a view to you incorporating this software system knowledge into you work, eventually moving into BIM modelling. The ideal candidate will be local to Manchester and have good local knowledge.

The portfolio of my client covers the following sectors:

Education, Residential, Leisure & Retail, Industrial, Housing, Manufacturing, Food Industry, Commercial, Restoration, Health Care
The role intails:
* Preparation and coordination of structural RC and Steelwork drawings/details and structural BIM models
* Preparing technical supporting data for specifications and reports etc.
* Ensure compliance to the appropriate company CAD/BIM standards and protocol
* Apply policies relating to company standards & procedures, health & safety, quality, and training
