Due to a new contract win Servest has a vacancy for a Weekend Cook in the Tesco`s Colleague Restaurant.

Days working- Saturday 7am-7pm and Sunday 7am-4pm-

Other shifts and overtime available in the week if required but not essential

Pay rate- £9.50 per hour (working 13.5 hours per weekend )

Servest are recruiting for an experienced Weekend Cook to work within the onsite Tesco`s colleague restaurants. In this role you will report into the onsite Chef Manager, running the weekend food offering with the support of a catering assistant. You must be able to cook without supervision and be used to working in a small team where its very hands on.

Day to day duties will include:

- Cooking using fresh seasonal ingredients to the specified weekend menus
- Assisting with the counter service of customers making sure that all food is presented to a high standard and our exceptional standards of customer service are met
- Cash handling and till work
- General cleaning of the kitchen and restaurant areas
- Stock refilling of the onsite retail fridges and service areas as well as any vending

To be considered for this role you must have a background of working in a commercial kitchen environment as a cook and ideally you will hold your basic food hygiene certificate.

What do you need? We are looking for can doers with a positive attitude and exceptional customer service standards- ideally with experience in face to face customer service or a retail catering environment. You need to be flexible with your duties from serving customers, till work to food preparation and cleaning- it`s a team effort where everyone gets involved to make sure Service runs smoothly!
