My client, a London based NHS Trust are looking for a Mechanical Estates officer to join them on an initial 3 month basis with the potential to extend or go permanent. If you are a qualified mechanical engineer, with experience managing within an NHS Estates team, my client would be keen to speak with you.

The Role

You will be required to

Effectively manage and co-ordinate all building and engineering services within the Trust Estate
Maintain the fabric, plant, equipment, services, fixtures and fittings of the Trusts properties to the highest possible standard
Assist the Estates Manager in the preparation of budgets
Assist in co-ordinating the compliance with all relevant Health & Safety legislation

The Candidate

You will be

Qualified in Mechanical Engineering to degree level or equivalent
Have experience managing teams of mechanical engineers within a healthcare environment
Able to demonstrate a strong understand of HTM/HBNs

This role will be deemed inside of IR35
