Coventry

We are looking for a determined and focused Shift Manager to lead and drive performance at an established Automotive Manufacturer at their site commutable from the areas surrounding Coventry.

The Role

*

Manage a group of Team Leaders and Operatives
*

Responsibility for your team performing to Company KPI's, achieving productivity targets and ensuring faultless Health and Safety Standards all whilst ensuring production is done at its minimum cost
*

Implement and lead continuous improvement activities across the shift
*

Attend Daily Meetings
*

Develop a skilled work force in JIT practices

The Person

*

Will be an accomplished Shift Manager with automotive experience
*

At least 2 years experience motivating and engaging a team in a fast moving automotive industry
*

Some Experience leading a Team in CNC Production
*

Previous experience using lean, streamlined manufacturing methods is crucial
*

Able to work independently using inventiveness and initiative
*

Be flexible in your approach to work and committed to working shift patterns
