Our Client (based in Totnes) are part of a Global Group. A world-wide company, with it's HQ in the States and with European subsidiaries in the UK, Germany, Austria, France and Belgium. World-wide turnover is in excess of $110 million, of which $25million is generated by the European operation. The Group is expanding rapidly through acquisition and organic growth. It aims to widen and deepen its product offering over the coming months and years.

A fantastic opportunity has now arisen to join this market leader in there specialist field. With clients in manufacturing as well as within the Oil, Gas and Health Sectors, our client seeks to recruit an Office Based Sales Representative.

Key Duties outlined below:

1. Conduct outbound sales through the use of the phone, internet, email, and additional internal tools to solicit new business from new and existing B-level customers within the assigned target markets and in keeping with daily goals.

2. Make phone calls to customers and prospects, meeting set expectations.

3. Identify, and perform necessary research on potential new customers in order to identify selling and pricing strategies to solicit new sales.

4. Utilize the CRM system as required within the sales process, making call summary entries after each customer call, and updating potential opportunities and targets with potential close dates, etc.

5. Attend and represent the Company in a professional manner at exhibitions and conferences when necessary or required.

6. Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales expectations.

7. Work within your team sharing skills, knowledge, and experience and when appropriate, information Company wide. Communicate with Customer Service as needed regarding specific customer requirements and concerns etc.

8. Identify emerging needs and opportunities in the marketplace through contact with current customers, following up on leads, and gathering competitor information.

Skills required:

1. Experience and ability to achieve and exceed sales budgets/targets.

2. Strategy implementation, project management, problem solving and change management skills.

3. Excellent research and negotiation skills.

4. Ability to build positive working relationships, both internally and externally.

5. Ability to effectively present information both internally and externally.

6. Strong oral and written communication skills.

7. Business related computer skills.

8. Possess a pro-active approach and have the ability to self-motivate in a fast pace environment.

9. Enjoy high levels of telephone interaction with clients.
