The role:

In the run up to Christmas, Amazon's temporary seasonal team is at the core of what Amazon does. In our Dunfermline based fulfilment centre with state of the art facilities, you'll be working as part of our energetic, busy team, who will support you throughout your training period.
Although this role is advertised as temporary, there are plenty of future career opportunities that stem from this role. Many temporary team members continue to permanent employment, team leader and management positions.

The candidate:

Must be at least 18 years old
Must be willing and able to work overtime as required
Must be able to read and take direction in English
Regular and Reliable Attendance is important
Demonstrates a commitment to a culture of safety
Demonstrates a positive work attitude
Demonstrates leadership skills by setting a clear example for others to follow
Demonstrates excellent job performance in productivity, quality, safety, and attendance

General Duties:

Learn and adhere to strict safety, quality, and production standards
Receive goods as they arrive into the fulfilment centre
Sort goods ready to be stowed into the fulfilment centre
Record goods / inventory
Stow products into their correct locations
Read and follow instructions from the client's computer systems
Locate, Pick and cart customer orders from shelves throughout a large fulfilment centre, including on a multi-level mezzanine
Pack and ship customer orders
Products vary in size and weight however individuals do not lift anything over 15kg
