REAL POTENTIAL FOR PERMANENT CONTRACTS WITH THE CLIENT

24-7 Recruitment Services, acting as an Employment Business, are currently recruiting for experienced Warehouse Operatives on behalf of our client - a major logistics firm based in Livingston. Roles are temporary / ongoing with opportunities for long term assignments and potential permanent contracts with the client.

Your role will include picking and packing the clients orders through the use of manual picking scanners, voice picking systems and ride on pallet trucks (LLOP). We are looking for people with a good attitude and enthusiasm; previous warehouse experience is an advantage but not essential.

This site also benefits from a staff gym and a subsidised canteen.

Hours of Work (Shifts Available):

06:00AM 14:00PM - Early Shift

14:00PM 22:00PM - Late Shift

22:00PM 06:30AM - Night Shift

Applications are primarily for the ambient warehouse, however candidates should be aware that some staff will be placed within the chilled or freezer areas of the warehouse if required (will be discussed at interview).

* Shifts in the Chilled warehouse can change depending on demand of the customer
* The Freezer warehouse has the same shifts as the Ambient warehouse, above

Furthermore, regardless of what job you apply for or what job you get offered all the roles are Sunday-Friday with a rest day Saturday and a rest day throughout the week however in some cases you may be required to work a Saturday but you would still get your 2 rest days that week.

Rates of Pay:
£7.50 £8.00 per hour + Overtime Available

Opportunities for permanent contracts after the initial 12-week period:

The client will normally offer permanent contracts to any agency workers who show good attendance and performance during their initial 12 week period - Permanent contracts offer:

What you need:
Experience in a Warehouse environment (Order picking) advantageous but not essential

Preferably experience driving MHE, ideally PPT and/or LLOP truck

Flexible attitude

Good work ethic
