Meridian is working exclusively with a growing FM company who has recently won a number of contracts across the UK.

Our Client is looking to recruit an electrically biased maintenance technician on a permanent basis, who holds a minimum City & Guilds 17th Edition to carry out all planned and reactive maintenance tasks on a busy retail contract covering the Chelmsford areas.

In addition to all Electrical work the successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of general maintenance, ensuring the internal and external areas are in good repair.

This role is ideal for a Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical bias who is confident undertaking small works including, Plumbing Carpentry, some Air Conditioning and numerous ad-hoc tasks.

Full training can be given to the right candidate and this is an excellent opportunity for a 17th Edition Qualified Engineer to take the next step in their career.

In return, the successful candidate can expect a competitive salary, the opportunity for over time, a company van and door to door payment.

This is a genuine opportunity for either someone who has recently passed their relevant electrical qualifications and wishes to secure additional training/qualifications in other maintenance disciplines or fully qualified engineers who wish to have a dedicated area to take ownership for and have the opportunity to earn additional salary from call out rota and overtime with a forward thinking organisation
