My client specialises in the provision, installation, testing and calibration of workshop equipment for the light and heavy vehicle industry. With over 25 years experience, they have an excellent reptuation within this industry.

An opportnity has now arisen for a qualified Accounts Manager to take responsibility for all aspects of overhead finances, including the development, production, and review of management reports.

This is a full time time maternity cover role, contracted until January 2019. The position is based at the head offce in the town of Leigh, which is close to Manchester. You will be leading a team of 3, and the mdeium sized company currently has 60 employees.

Hours
Monday to Friday 0900 1730

Duties (to include but not be limited to)
Supervise a team of 2 direct reports
Supervise purchase and sales ledger Assistants
Management Accounts
Cashflow forecast
Payroll
Checking Purchase invoices and dealing with queries
You will need to be confident and work well under pressure, and have a
thorough understanding of the accounting process.
Production of management accounting transactions

Accounts Manager Requirements
Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience
Use of Sage 50
Strong Excel skills
Experienced in driving process efficiency and quality improvements
Prepared to be hands-on
