Location: Covering the South Midlands.

Due to ongoing expansion, an opening has arisen for a Field Service engineer within our UK Service Division providing Service and Technical Support predominantly in the South Midlands but also providing occasional assistance further south.
About the role
- Reporting to the Service Manager
- To manage and plan the efficient operation of the area, including all Scheduled Maintenance, Emergency, Warranty and Validation work.
- To provide technical support with equipment installations when required
- To assist with scheduled maintenance work in other territories.
- To actively promote all aspects of Metrohm UK including all Service Support products and to liaise with the local area sales person.
- To provide market intelligence to sales division.

- Candidate must live on territory.

Applicant profile
- The successful candidate would ideally have an analytical chemistry background and either already have experience working as a Field Service Engineer on analytical equipment or have an active interest in moving into the service industry.
- The successful candidate will ideally be educated to degree level or at least hold a higher level qualification in Chemistry.
- Ideally, the successful candidate will be familiar with Metrohm instrumentation.
Interview process
- After receiving a CV and if successful, candidates will be invited for a short initial face to face interview
- A second interview with Senior management will follow for suitable candidates
