We are currently working on behalf of a school in Gateshead who are looking to appoint a Level 3 (or above) Teaching Assistant to work full time within their Early Years Foundation unit. The role offers an immediate start date for the successful applicant and is ongoing.

Person Specification:

* Must be level 3 qualified in teaching and learning in schools or equivalent
* Have recent experience working within an Early Years setting
* Confident knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and capable of assessing pupil progression
* Proven track record as a Key Worker and able to communicate effectively with a range of adults; senior leaders, outside agencies, teaching and support staff, parents etc
* DBS on the update service is advantageous, but full assistance provided if a new application is required
