Jason Johal is currently recruiting for a Compounding Isolator Supervisor to join the compounding division of a Healthcare company that touches millions of lives every day as their products and services are essential building blocks of global healthcare. This role is accountable for delivering all manufacturing targets for the department within the constraints of the financial budget, and in compliance with the manufacturing license, EHS legislation, customer and company requirements. It is offered on a full time permanent basis at their site in Norfolk with a strong salary and benefits package.
You will ensure full compliance with all corporate quality systems, policies and procedures. You will also provide technical knowledge and guidance for all aspects of the department's activities, such as aseptic compounding, facility and equipment management, stock handling, procurement and management of workflow, including the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing tools.
A key responsibility will be to take decisions on prioritising demand requirements ensuring patients and customers do not encounter outages.
Your main responsibilities in this role will be to:
Maintain head count and manufacturing spend within the agreed financial budget.
Drive efficiencies through Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement programmes.
Ensure compliance with Quality Assurance
Ensure compliance with all GMP, Regulatory & Corporate requirements.
Ensure EHS standards
Drive a 'zero lost time' injury culture using proactive tools and techniques, (Safety Observations).
Drive results through proactive leadership, coaching and motivation of the manufacturing team.
Ensure all PMO reviews are completed and all key staff have development plans in place
Ensure adequately trained personnel are available to meet the needs of the business
Ensure the manufacturing facility complies with current GMP guidance
Facilitate regular GEMBA walks as part of the facility maintenance programme.
Ensure training is conducted with staff to enable them to complete their jobs in compliance with the company quality systems and country regulations
You are required to have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
A Degree in a relevant subject or equivalent
Experience of working in a pharmaceutical manufacturing operation at a supervisory level
Ideally experience in aseptic compounding & lean manufacturing
Good attention to detail
People management skills
Strong communication skills
A good understanding of EHS
