Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting an Assistant Finance Analyst for the Warrington office of a FTSE 250 manufacturing business.

The purpose of this role is to review, analyse and appraise key daily, weekly and monthly financial reports to produce business performance reporting which enable decisions to be made by key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage financial data to create meaningful financial reports
Analyse, review and highlight key trends to assess company performance against targets
Investigate site variances to budget / forecast to provide insight on performance and take corrective action
Prepare key financial information to drive insight supporting the management team in advance of weekly / monthly meetings / board reports
Extract and analyse data to produce weekly management accounts
Posting journals, accruals/prepayments in a timely manner
Daily / Weekly / Monthly KPI Monitoring
Daily / Weekly / Monthly reporting
Quarterly planning & reviews

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

Educated to degree level or equivalent
Studying towards CIMA qualification is desirable
Strong excel skills
Strong communication skills across all levels
Attention to detail
Good organisational and planning skills
