An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to join one of the country's leading waste company's based in the Midlands. The ideal candidate will have experience within a heavy engineering business, be a key decision maker and risk control professional.

Health, Safety and Environmental Manager opportunity:

* Improve on site risk control with a solution based approach
* Spend time with the operations, engineering, transport and sales teams driving up health and safety standards
* Provide training, continue the development of management systems
* You must be able to engage with people at all levels, make pragmatic decisions and have the drive to see things through

Health, Safety and Environmental Manager requirements:

* Hold NEBOSH Diploma or NEBOSH General Certificate leading to Chartered Member of the Institute of safety and Health
* Have a proven track record of delivering high standards of HS & E compliance in an industrial or manufacturing environment; including construction, heavy engineering, food or waste
* Have strong communication and influencing skills and the adaptability to engage with all levels within a diverse workforce
