Job Title: Web Portal Developer - Space Missions

Web Portal Developer: This is an opportunity to join one of the leading IT consultancies in the world and work within their Space division to develop geospatial websites for Earth Observation projects, generally involving the utilisation of satellite imagery.

You will join a team of 250 in Leatherhead, and a wider family of around 400 in Europe. They have deep domain experience gained over the last 40 years, and have capitalised on this expertise by securing a number of project wins which will support their growth plans over the next decade and beyond.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

You will involved in developing online portals to provide easy access and use of Earth Observation data from multiple satellite missions and to provide climate data and tools to monitor and understand climate change.

You will have good experience in web portal development, following on from a degree on Computer Science, Physics, Engineering or similar. The skills required are:

* UI design and development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

* A JavaScript framework (AngularJS, React)

* Intuitive UX design - ideally in a Geospatial environment

* Web API services (REST)

* OpenLayers, Leaflet, D3.js

* Experience of Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) Website Services (WMS, WMTS, WFS, WCS, WPS);
