Adecco has an exciting role just in for a Quality Manager to join our local client on a permanent basis. the client is looking for someone ideally from the Food industry.

As the Quality manager you will assist the Technical Manager to ensure the standard legislation and customer requirements are met and maintained at all times. Your role will be to maintain the Quality management system, ensuring trends are identified, reported sand corrective action implemented. You will also work on continuous improvement projects within the business.

To be considered for the role you must have the following:

* Experience of working within a technical/quality auditing function within the food
manufacturing industry
* Qualified to HNC level or equivalent within a food or science subject
* Knowledge of HACCP, intermediate Food Hygiene and Microbiology is preferable
* Previous experience of direct retailer contact is essential
* Previous experience of Quality Management systems, internal audits and product label approval
* Ability to prioritise tasks, effective planner and excellent administration skills
* Computer literate
