EHS Senior Advisor (Environmental Bias)

UK, Reading | £40,000 + Car + Excellent Benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen with a leading technology company to recruit an Environment, Health and Safety Senior Advisor. This organisation is a well-known global company and the role will join an established Environment, Health & Safety Team. This will be a varied role, in a dynamic, fast paced environment and will have responsibility for Environment, Health and Safety across 8 large office sites.

Responsibilities for the Environmental, Health and Safety Senior Advisor will include:

* Leading on the management, maintenance and reporting of the Environmental Management System/ISO 14001 and auditing against this
* Develop and implement environmental strategies and action plans at the offices, to ensure corporate sustainable development
* Assist the Head of Sustainability with the coordination of all aspects of waste management, recycling, environmental health, conservation and renewable energy
* Assisting in the implementation and improvement of the health and safety management system

The successful Environmental, Health and Safety Senior Advisor will have:

* Proven experience in a similar role across both environment and health & safety with ISO 14001 implementation and management experience
* Degree level environmental qualification and minimum of NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)
* Experience operating in a multi-site, corporate environment and able to prioritise effectively
* A pragmatic and solutions focused outlook with the ability to spot efficiencies across the organization
* ISO 14001 and / or 18001 lead auditing qualifications would be ideal
