Role: Interim Supply Chain Manager
Location - Somerset
Day Rate: £450 - £600 / Day + Expenses

Our client is one of the leading food manufacturing companies in the UK and is looking to strengthen their team by the appointment of an InterimSupply Chain Manager.

The role
* The 'day to day' negotiation and supplier management across whole product groups
* Identify where further cost savings can be unlocked with both with existing and new suppliers.
* Consolidating suppliers to build strategic partnerships.
* Management of forecast detail, order accuracy, and formal supplier performance measures.
* Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders such as Technical, Operations, and Commercial in order to collectively improve communication and reduce supply chain cost.
* Understand the growth plans of the business and ensure suppliers can meet future needs including sourcing of new materials.

Ideally you will have experience in buying a variety of products, however overall we are looking for a strong team player with a positive 'can do' attitude and an ability to lead multi-functional teams and communicate at all levels.
