This well run mixed school in Lewisham is looking to appoint an English teacher who can teach English through Key Stage 3/4 for the on a permanent basis. The teaching timetable will be Key Stage 4 heavy so the school require someone with excellent subject knowledge and previous experience of successfully teaching exam classes is a must.

The school as with all schools in the local area have an intake of students that have a variety of challenges including high EAL and free school meal numbers. The school is also in an area renowned for having some of poorest families in the country which further adds to the challenges faced by the school.

My client school is looking to appoint a high quality strong Teacher of English who can deliver results and engage student's up to KS4.
As the successful English Teacher you will be joining a busy Lewisham school with first class facilities and a dedicated SLT who will make any new teachers feel welcome and supported.
This interim post is covering a maternity and the school are looking for an English teacher with a proven track record of success and student attainment.
