Company Overview:

Our client is a growing international manufacturing business. As a result of expansion and site investment they are looking for a plant based Quality Engineer.

Reporting to the Quality Manager, this role would be responsible for supporting QMS compliance, auditing, quality tool problem solving, KPI improvement, NPI support & supplier quality.

Implementing Quality Management System to ISO 9001:2015, ensuring compliance, leading audits and quality improvement activities.
Using problem solving & quality tools such as FMEA, 8D, 5Why, FMEA, PPAP, APQP.
Analysis of quality KPIs to monitor performance and enable process improvement activities.
Supporting a quality improvement mindset across the business via training and coaching
Liaising with suppliers to support quality performance.
Utilising continuous Improvement methods (Lean, 5S, Visual Management) and acting as a change agent within the business.

What Were Looking For / Essential skills:

The successful candidate will have a track record as a Quality Engineer at a modern & fast-paced manufacturing business.
Experience of automotive, aerospace, electronic or other advanced manufacturing environments.
Ability to act as a change agent and influence at all levels from Shop Floor to Senior Management Team
