Business Analytics Manager contract role in central London paying £500 to £600 per day
The Opportunity: To work as a Business Analytics Manager based in central London on a 12 month contract paying market rates. In this role you will be responsible for supporting their pharmaceutical healthcare business through an exciting and transformational period, with market research, forecasting, analytics and insight of the highest quality. This role covers market research, analytics and forecasting and all candidates will need a highly-trained and numerical mind-set candidates must be aware that the forecasting piece is of utmost importance.

Skills and Experience:
* In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical data sources (e.g. IMS)
* Advanced MS Excel skills and in-depth knowledge of other MS software systems (Word & PowerPoint, etc.)
* Experience in analytical software (e.g. Access, SAS, Cognos, QlikView, MicroStrategy)
* Experienced across all areas of sales/marketing Business Intelligence (analysis, market research and forecasting), preferably in pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
* Experience conducting quantitative and qualitative primary and secondary market research, with experience in both forecasting and scenario modelling is desirable.
* Candidates must be highly numerate with proven data analysis and interpretation skills; and an ability to meaningfully portray quantitative data in graphical form

All candidates must have in-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical data sources (e.g. IMS)

Role and Responsibilities:
* Works with brand team to scope, design, and manage the execution of quantitative and qualitative market research
* Collaborates with primary and secondary market research agencies on data collection
* Interprets market research studies and makes presentations on current market areas and future market conditions
* Manages the research and analysis of the relevant markets, competition and product mix
* Assists in development and dissemination of routine KPI reporting
* Supports development of business frameworks and related analytical processes based on the needs of the Companys senior management
* Analyses competitive environment sales data, market penetration, market potential and future trends and makes recommendations based on findings
* Compiles and analyses data on sales and trends to forecast future trends
