One of our West Midlands based client is currently looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Birmingham. The company are well known, very busy local contractor

Who specialise in the construction of city centre 'exclusive' residential accommodation.

The Role:

Quantity Surveyor reporting to the Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager working on both New Build accommodation and Refurbishment contracts with project values up to circa £20million.

Duties / Requirements:

Experience working with comparable regional contracts.

* Dealing with General Procurement & Client Validations
* Managing various packages
* NEC experience advantageous
* Taking projects from start to final account, dealing with all commercial issues.
* Manage and reduce risks to the business.
* Placing orders and dealing with Sub-contractors first hand
* Able to deal with tough negotiations and pressures of fast paced environment.
* Excellent attention to detail.
