White Label is now hiring for a Development Engineer for a leading manufacturing business based in Lancashire.

The company manufacture, and supply precision engineered products into the aerospace, defence, marine, chemical, petrochemical, refining, pharmaceutical, food & beverage, paper, OEM, automotive, construction, utilities, power generation, mining, steel, and aluminium sectors.

They are now looking for a Development Engineer to be involved in Engineering / Technical support / Product Development and Testing / Project work.

The company is ideally looking for a Development Engineer with a materials/ chemical background, and has some knowledge in at least one of the following industries PTFE, Textiles, Packings, Rubber.

The Development Engineer is required to have experience and knowledge of product and materials testing, within the role you will have access to onsite material test facilities, application test laboratory and chemical laboratory.

The company is looking for the Development Engineer to be hands on practical person, be a structured problem solver and a team player. They require an individual who is professional and has a strong personality, as you will be dealing with Customers and Suppliers on a technical level.

They are also looking for someone proficient in standard Microsoft software, knowledge and ideally some use of CAD (Solidworks 3d or Autocad 2d) would be useful but not essential.

Price / Salary: £30000 - £35000/annum
