A fantastic opportunity has become available for an Accounts Assistant to join a highly successful clothing organisation on a temporary, full time basis, based in Oxford. Reporting to the Office Supervisor you will be working within the finance and accounts team in a busy and friendly environment.
Key Accountabilities for the Accounts Assistant:
* Checking invoices and credit notes and posting to Pegasus
* Inputting of orders, packing notes and invoices to spreadsheet
* Matching invoices to orders and packing notes
* Sending out query invoices to Buyers, ensuring they are returned in time
* Liaising with suppliers with any issues or queries
* Prepare Purchase Ledger payments utilising print outs and supplier statements
* Raise BACs and cheque payment runs, and posting payments to Pegasus
* Reconciling purchase ledger control accounts
* Daily RSG/EPOS system to print reports
* Adhoc EPOS reconciliation/corrections
* Assist with updating till account balances
* Creating new customer accounts
* Sales ledger postings
* General filing, admin, answering the phones and sorting daily post
* Posting cash received and cash paid to cash books
* Daily, weekly and yearly statistics routines

Opportunity: what's in it for me?
This is an exciting opportunity! Our client is either looking for someone with experience, or they are also willing to train a candidate, who doesn't have much experience but who is passionate, dedicated and willing to learn! Hours of work are 8.30 a.m - 5.00 p.m. Monday to Friday. This position also comes with the opportunity to turn permanent, paying between £8.50 - £9.00 per hour DOE
