Job Title: Contracts Manager

Location: Brighton

Salary: 27-30k DOE

Hours: Monday - Friday

We are currently looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join a rapidly expanding global organisation. Our client specialises in providing customers with UK and overseas transfers & ground transportation solutions anywhere and everywhere in the world. They pride themselves in great value pre-bookable products along with a high-quality service.

Responsibilities:

* To manage the contracting of various transportation products within numerous geographical areas
* Be fully accountable for negotiating rates, terms and conditions with suppliers, as well monitoring the on-going commercial and operational performance of these products/suppliers
* Negotiate special offers & exclusive deals with key suppliers
* Monitor performance of your geographical areas of responsibility
* Ensure ALL suppliers adhere to the company's health and safety policies
* Address and resolve any service level issues with suppliers, by being the point of escalation for our Customer Service team leaders
* Work with our commercial and sales teams to maximise sales volumes & profit growth
* Always on the lookout for product development opportunities

Skills:

* Excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills
* Ability to develop close working relationships with suppliers to achieve optimum results
* Strong negotiation skills
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
* Be able to prioritise work effectively with excellent multi-tasking skills
* Ability to keep up with market developments
