Engineering Project Manager required for a permanent role in Fareham.
The company design and manufacturing electronic equipment, typically used in the defence industry.
The overall key responsibility is the timely delivery of the designated projects and the associated monitoring of progress.
Whilst primarily an Engineering Project Management role this will also entail regular discussions with key business functions, including Operations and Sales, to gain commitments and to drive progress within the function to ensure the project progress to time and cost.
A hands-on' and flexible working attitude is required to lead and drive the project team to achieve the project goals.
All candidates require previous experience within a Project Management role delivering engineering manufacturing projects to time, cost and quality metrics.
Previous Project Management of Technical Engineering design projects is desirable.
A degree in Electronics/Engineering is highly desirable, as is Prince 2 or SCRUM Project management experience.
The salary will range from £40K to £50K, depending upon experience and qualifications
