Maintenance Fitter
Location: Walsall
Salary: Circa 37k
Hours: 4 on 4 off- Days & Nights
local manufacturing company who supplies products to the construction industry now requires a Maintenance Fitter to join their team.

Maintenance Fitter - Job Outline:
Key responsibility is to maximise uptime on our core production equipment. Primary duties are carrying out essential maintenance on all aspects of the roof tile production lines, working within a programme of planned and preventative, responding to breakdowns and ensuring machine safety standards are kept to the highest level.

Maintenance Fitter - Main Responsibilities:

- Duties include carrying out essential maintenance on all aspects of the production lines
- Working through a programme of PPM and helping develop the agility system
- Attending breakdowns
- Ensuring machine safety standards are kept to the highest level
- Ensuring critical spares are maintained to ensure minimal downtime on the machinery
- Improving factory OEE through development and innovation of the production facility.

Maintenance Fitter- About You
The ideal candidate MUST come from the Manufacturing industry as a Maintenance Fitter You will also have the following skills, qualifications and experience:

- Minimum NVQ level 3 Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Appreciation of FMCG / production line
- You must be flexible in approach and have a strong desire to learn and progress as there may be a need to work within other areas / factories.
- Experience in fabrication and Welding
