Have you already got experience working in the Employability Sector or do you have a Education/Functional Skills/English background and have a passion for helping people? Then this may be the perfect opportunity for you.

The basics.

You will need to be adaptable and flexible as you will be required to work remotely and travel to various learndirect centres in the Readi9ng area. You will support our unemployed customers gain employability skills and enable their progression towards employment. You will deliver a combination of Functionbal Skills focusing on English training, job focused programs, workshops, and supported job search.

Some of the main accountabilities will include:

Delivery of tailored programmes to enable learners to move closer to sustainable employment.
Differentiation of training delivery to ensure the learning needs of customers are met.
Work with the team of coaches and employers to develop sector focused programs leading where possible to guaranteed interviews and sustained job entries.

Have you got what it takes?

Your application should be able to demonstrate:
Experience of working in teaching and learning, and some administrative / customer service exposure as well.
Experience in the delivery and assessment of accredited qualifications in Functional Skills and Engish.
Maths and English at Level 2 or above.
A formal teaching qualification (PTTLS or equivalent).
