Due to continued growth, our client who are a leading and successful M&E and FM provider to the built environment are currently recruiting for a Gas Compliance Manager to support their operational team and to drive better performance across the business to ultimately achieve excellent technical compliance based in Glasgow on a full time permanent basis.

Working as part of the senior management team, you will be responsible for:

-Continuously improving all aspects of gas and technical compliance to ensure full compliance with appropriate legislation, regulation, technical, operational and business policies
-Implementing and reviewing the processes and practices to ensure compliance with all current regulations with regard to personal, technical and environmental criteria
-Maintaining and development of the company Gas Safe registration
-Ensuring all engineers are fully trained, compliant and competent to carry out tasks while encouraging personal development.
-Technical auditing of engineers quality of work on site
-Continual development from audit findings
-Providing technical support to all engineers and managers

Essential requirements:

-Served recognised apprenticeship
-ACS Commercial & Domestic Gas Safe certification
-Held similar positions throughout your career i.e. Gas Compliance Supervisor/Manager, Technical Manager etc.
-Thorough knowledge and understanding of Gas Safe legislation and regulations
-Experience and knowledge of similar technical industry bodies i.e. OFTEC, Refcom etc.
-Able to demonstrate a strong focus on customer care with excellent communication skills.
