Accounts Assistant
Location : Farnham
Salary £18-20,000

My client who is based in Farnham is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team. We are looking for candidates who have got strong experience working in Accounts and will ideally have knowledge of Credit Control, Sales Ledger and general Accounts. My client requires a candidate who is hard working, driven and confident.

Daily Duties

Ensure all credit clients accounts are maintained on a weekly basis including allocation of receipts
Provide Statements to the clients on a weekly basis
Sales Ledger invoices
Reconciliation of accounts
Liaise with clients to ensure payments are received on time and report any late payments
Provide a point of contact for clients so they can ensure their account is up to date and discuss any payment issues
Liaise with the Payroll department to ensure invoices and credit notes are raised correctly and in a timely fashion

Essential Skills, Knowledge & Experience

General Accounts experience, preferably with an element of credit control
Reconciliations experience
Highly numerate with excellent IT skills, especially Excel
Analytical and logical problem solving skills
Confident telephone manner
Good business and commercial understanding
Must be a good communicator
Excellent attention to detail
Honesty and discretion
Team-working skills

Hours of Work

Hours: 8.30am - 5.30pm with 1 hour for lunch (Mon-Thurs) and 8.30am - 5.00pm with 30 minutes for lunch (Fri)

Price / Salary: £18000 - £20000/annum
